Your employees look to you for guidance, help, and support in difficult situations. While it may seem at times this is all you do, it is part of the job. An important aspect of any managers role is to help navigate challenges and obstacles with employees. While you shouldnt solve for everything yourself, at times you do need to provide information, guidance and assistance. All of which is done with the hope that your employees will be better equipped to handle the next situation successfully on their own. In order for you to help your employees with challenges and difficult situations, you need to know when theyre happening. Simply put, you cant help someone solve a problem if you dont know one exists. There are a number of ways you can increase your awareness of these situations. This course will help you think about your preferred managerial style, your teams situation, and select one or more methods that would work well for you. By completing this course, you will know how to provide help and assistance to your employees facing challenges and obstacles.
